Former WWE Superstar Mickie James may be forced to give up her World Championship due to a reported injury.
The IMPACT Knockouts Champion had to relinquish her belt, as confirmed by the company’s official social media accounts:
“Due to an injury, @MickieJames will be unable to compete at Sacrifice. We will give an update and address the Knockouts World Title situation tomorrow night at Sacrifice.”

This is quite the blow for IMPACT, who have also had to confirm that Josh Alexander will also no longer be appearing at the Sacrifice event, and he too has to relinquish his belt.
Fans had wondered whether or not this was a storyline with James, as the last tapings for IMPACT took place back in mid-February; at least the match that Bully Ray ‘claims’ he injured her during was taped back then.
We’ll have to wait and see what the situation is regarding the former WWE Women’s Champion, but it might not be a good one.
