Diana Avsaragova scored a brutal 29-second knockout in her Bellator debut this weekend. Avsaragova took to the cage to face Tara Graff in her company debut as part of Bellator 256.

The 22-year-old Russian Avsaragova (3-0 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) is a wrestling and grappling specialist; however her quick striking secured her the victory in this fight, showing that she isn’t just a one dimension fighter.

Speaking after the fight, Avsaragova said that she was expecting the fight to go the full 15 minutes. ‘Obviously it didn’t go that way, and I’m very happy,’ the Russian said via a translator.

‘I don’t think I showed everything I have to offer,’ Avsaragova continued. ‘The fight was very short, so I think I still have some tricks up my sleeve and something that will keep the fans happy.’

‘I had a lot of people that cheered for me and wished me well” Diana Avsaragova added. “And then there were a lot of doubters that thought this was the highest level and I’m not ready for it. I think I’ve proven them all wrong.”

‘I proved today that I belong here” Avsaragova concluded. “That I can handle fighting at this level. You guys just watch. You’ll be surprised how far I can go.’
