May is the month of releases for AEW. It was recently revealed that they have let go Joey Janela by not re-signing him to a new contract. Now it has been confirmed that they have released a member of the Dark Order.

Fans noted that the profile of Stu Grayson has been quietly removed by AEW from their official website. Dave Meltzer of the F4Wonline.com then reported that the company has not officially confirmed his departure, but word going around is that his contract has expired. The two sides apparently failed to come to terms on a new deal.

Grayson originally made his AEW debut at their inaugural Double or Nothing PPV back in 2019. He was one of the leading faces of The Dark Order faction in the early days. This was before Brodie Lee joined the promotion and took over the group.

Stu Grayson last wrestled for AEW as early as this past week’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation. Members of The Dark Order teamed up to defeat Eli Isom, Anthony Bennett, Mike Law, Kori Meshaw, Jaden Valo and Brett Waters in 12 men tag team match. His last TV appearance was on April 1 Rampage where he competed against the House of Black.
