NXT Championship: Bron Breakker vs. Carmelo Hayes
The main event will feature a WrestleMania weekend rematch between Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship.
Born Bronson Rechsteiner, Bron Breakker is an American professional wrestler and a former American football player. He is a second-generation professional wrestler, being the son of Rick Steiner and the nephew of Scott Steiner, who performed together as the Steiner Brothers. The 25-year-old wrestler, who debuted in October 2020, was voted “Rookie of the Year” for 2022 by readers of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter’‹’‹.
On the other side of the ring, Carmelo Hayes, born Christian Brigham, is another American professional wrestler. At 28, Hayes has already made his mark in NXT.
He is the current NXT Champion in his first reign and was the final NXT Cruiserweight Champion and a former two-time NXT North American Champion. Hayes also has the longest combined reign for the North American Championship’‹’‹.
North American Championship: Wes Lee vs. Joe Gacy vs. Tyler Bate
The NXT North American Championship will be defended by Wes Lee, who will face off against Joe Gacy and Tyler Bate.
Deveon Everhart Aikens, better known by his ring name Wes Lee, is the current and longest reigning NXT North American Champion in his first reign. He is also a former two-time WWE NXT Tag Team Champion. The Ohio-born wrestler is best known for his time in Impact Wrestling under the ring name Dezmond Xavier (or simply Dez), where he was a member of The Rascalz alongside Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, and Myron Reed’‹.
