Tonight sees the return of NXT to USA Network, however this week’s episode of the show will be a special Great American Bash themed show based on the classic WCW PPV event.
Two title matches will be taking place on the card as well as ‘a feud ending’ match between Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole. The two former members of Undisputed Era will battle in what NXT General Manager William Regal has said will be a “straight-up wrestling match.”
Johnny Gargano will also be squaring up to NXT Champion Karrion Kross. WWE.com previewed the segment by saying that “Gargano was enraged after Kross responded to his ambush attacks last Tuesday by trying to run him over. He called out Kross on Twitter Saturday ahead of NXT Great American Bash.”
The NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line when The Way’s Indi Hartwell and Candice LeRae defend against makeshift team Io Shirai and Zoe Stark.
