Welcome to the preview for tonight’s NXT show. Tonight’s episode of NXT will be taking place once again from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Florida and this episode of the show will feature the fallout from this past weekend’s NXT Takeover: In Your House event on Peacock and WWE Network.

The big news heading into the show surrounds William Regal. The NXT General Manager said towards the end of NXT Takeover: In Your House that the NXT brand was in “chaos” and that “something might need to change.” The current rumor is that Samoa Joe will be taking over from Regal, and with Englishman making his announcement tonight that may well be confirmed.

The Grizzled Young Veterans, James Drake and Zack Gibson will also be in action against Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa. This is four men who are likely to batter each other, so it shouldn’t be missed.

WWE Cruiserweight Champion KUSHIDA will also be defending in an open challenge. The former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion has proven to be a fighting champion and he’s back at it again tonight. There’s currently no note on who the 205 Champion will be facing on tonight’s broadcast.

Here’s the current official line-up and preview from WWE for tonight’s show:

  • Tornado Rules: Tommaso Ciampa and Timothy Thatcher vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans
  • NXT Cruiserweight Champion Kushida defends in an Open Challenge
  • What change is General Manager William Regal looking to bring to NXT?
