Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT will be taking place from the Capitol Wrestling Center. Thus far, WWE has announced a number of matches for the show, including the NXT Cruiserweight Champion KUSHIDA taking on former Undisputed Era member Kyle O’Reilly.
Elsewhere on the show, Samoa Joe will be assuming the role of enforcer once again for NXT General Manager William Regal. Joe appeared last week and declined the offer to become the new NXT GM, saying instead that he wanted to work alongside Regal to stop the ‘chaos’ on the NXT roster.
Although the in-ring status of Samoa Joe is not confirmed, there were a few matches that were teased on last week’s episode. Regal notified the former NXT Champion that he could not attack any NXT roster members, unless he was ‘provoked.’ The likes of Karrion Kross, Adam Cole and Pete Dunne all appeared to be teased as potential future opponents for the former United States Champion.
After many weeks of speculation, Diamond Mine will finally be revealed on this week’s episode of NXT. It’s not confirmed if Diamond Mine is a group or an individual, however we do know that the rumored Tessa Blanchard will not be revealed as part of the angle tonight.
