The ROH Championship was defended in the opening match of the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV, but did Claudio Castagnoli win it?
The former WWE Superstar Cesaro had an incredible match against Ring of Honor’s top star Jonathan Gresham, which went back and forth.
Castagnoli would take the win to become the new ROH Champion and win his first ever major singles title in pro wrestling.

Claudio was visibly emotional after pinning the now-former Champion, and William Regal would walk down the ramp to join his Blackpool Combat Club stablemate.
Gresham and Castagnoli would shake hands following the match before Claudio celebrated in front of the fans.
