Now former ROH Champion Jonathan Gresham lost his title at the Death Before Dishonor PPV event tonight, and an IMPACT star has reacted.
Gresham defended his title in the opening bout of the night against Claudio Castagnoli, in what was a great match.
Bullet Club member and IMPACT Wrestling star Chris Bey would however say that the Octopus was let down by the booking.

Bey tweeted: “Doing my man Gresham DIRTY” and fans have been reacting huge to the comments from the NJPW STRONG star.
One fan would claim that this was inevitable, tweeting: “You knew that was happening as soon as Tony bought the company smh. I love Claudio but I was definitely hoping Gresham could get a chance to prove how great he was with a win over him.”
Another fan however would slate the former champion, writing: “no one aside from Jordynne Grace can tell me with a straight face that they’d have Jonathan Gresham retain over Claudio Castagnoli on a show that’s supposed to shape the future of a brand that they’re trying to get a weekly show for or in general.”
It remains to be seen how Gresham will be used going forward by the company. For now though, he looks to be going down the pecking order.
