It was recently confirmed that ROH star Dalton Castle is a free agent.
Dalton Castle signed with Ring of Honor back in 2013, appearing at the Dragon’s Reign event with ‘The Boys.’ During his run in Ring of Honor Castle would become the ROH Champion on one occasion, back in 2017.
Castle would defeat former WWE Superstar and now AEW EVP Cody Rhodes to become the ROH Champion at Final Battle 2017. Dalton Castle would then go on to defend the Championship successfully seven times; with wins coming over the likes of Jay Lethal, Marty Scurll and the aforementioned Cody Rhodes.

Dalton Castle would lose the ROH Title to Jay Lethal back in 2018. Castle lost the title in a Four Way match, with Matt Taven and Cody Rhodes rounding out the field of competitors.
WrestlingINC confirmed that Ring of Honor has offered Castle a new deal. The new contract is said to be “good,” but there currently are no specifics. It is reported that Castle is considering the offer but wants to see “what else is out there.” So for now Castle is listed as a free agent.
It is not confirmed if any other parties have offered Dalton Castle a deal. The likes of AEW, IMPACT, NJPW and WWE may all be interested, but this has not in any way been confirmed. We will update you on this story as and when it develops.
