UFC Featherweight Champion Amanda Nunes recently spoke to BT Sport. Nunes is set to defend her Championship tonight at UFC 259 against Megan Anderson. Amanda Nunes is a heavy favourite in tonight’s contest, with the Featherweight division coming under scrutiny for being ‘shallow’ in competition.

BT Sport asked Nunes how she would feel if UFC nixed the whole division. ‘I feel like after this fight, the UFC should think about what they want to do with the division, because I have the belt, the belt is going to be mine forever,’ Amanda Nunes told BT Sport. ‘This division has to retire with the belt being mine.”

‘So whatever they want to do after this fight, they can do with the division” Nunes continued. “I’m okay with it.’
