It has been confirmed that Cheyanne Buys will be facing a new opponent at the UFC Vegas 22 card that takes place on March 20th. UFC officials told MMA Fighting that Buy will now take on fellow promotional newcomer Montserrat Ruiz at the event.
This will be the first fight for Cheyanne Buys inside the octagon. Both Buys and her husband JP will be debuting for the company official next week, with both ‘The Warrior Princess’ and JP Buys earning contracts during Dana White’s Contender Series.
Cheyanne Buys Debuts
The aforementioned Montserrat Ruiz replaces Kay Hansen at the event, who was forced to withdraw due to undisclosed reasons. Reportedly Hansen and her team are looking to reschedule the fight with Buys as and when it is possible.
