UFC megastar Conor McGregor is looking sharp in the gym whilst preparing for his octagon return. After losing to Dustin Poirier back in January, The Notorious One and The Diamond are set to collide in the Trilogy bout July 10.
Although Conor McGregor has said that the fight is ‘off’ due to ‘slanderous’ comments from Poirier? It’s still very likely that the fight will be going ahead.
A new video has surfaced showing McGregor preparing for the fight on July 10. It’s worth noting that the ‘karate’ stance of McGregor appears to be ‘back.’
Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3
Many fans and critics slammed Conor McGregor for the ‘purist’ boxing stance he took against Poirier back in January. McGregor has always been known for his striking ability, although he brutally mismanaged the leg kicks from Dustin on that night.
If Conor is able to bring this sort of swagger and movement to his fight in July; The Notorious One may be able to outclass Poirier in the standup game. It is worth bearing in mind though that The Diamond is no slouch when it comes to striking himself, having TKO’d McGregor at the start of 2021.
