UFC superstar Conor McGregor recently held a Q&A for his fans on Twitter. The Notorious One discussed a number of topics during the session, including questions about his financial goals and past fights in MMA.
Conor McGregor was asked by one fan who he believes is the toughest ever opponent he has had in the UFC. “Nate Diaz. The west coast zombie” was McGregor’s response interestingly.
Conor McGregor on Nate Diaz
McGregor has of course got some losses during his MMA career, including against the likes of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Dustin Poirier and the aforementioned Nate Diaz. Conor is 1-1 against both Poirier and Diaz, whilst he is 0-1 against Khabib.
Conor McGregor also talked about a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz. “The trilogy will be of epic proportions when it goes down” McGregor stated. “Nathan, and his fighting styles, are never far from my thoughts throughout my own practices. When it happens, I’m ready.”
After losing to Dustin Poirier back in January, McGregor is apparently weighing his options in the fight game. There’s potentially a boxing match against Manny Pacquiao down the line that McGregor himself has said “talks are ongoing,” so that might be his next destination in 2021.
