UFC Superstar Conor McGregor recently spoke to The Mac Life about the opportunities ahead of him. McGregor will be facing Dustin Poirier this coming weekend at UFC 257, with the winner of that fight likely getting a Lightweight Championship fight down the line.

One of the fights that really intrigues McGregor is the potential rematch against Nate Diaz. Dana White has recently stated that Nate Diaz is considering moving back down to LW from Welterweight.

If the fight were to happen it would be the trilogy bout. McGregor and Diaz first fought at UFC 196, where Diaz defeated McGregor in the second round via rear naked choke. Conor McGregor would get the win back at UFC 202, where he took the win via unanimous decision.

‘There are dangling carrots, treasure chests that get presented to me,’ McGregor said during the interview. ‘We’ve got world titles in boxing now, there’s talks of…I hear Dana [White] talking [about] Nate Diaz coming back down to lightweight. I love that. I’d love to compete against Diaz. We will compete again. If that happens at lightweight for a title, that would be something special, also. So there’s many great options that are in the works and let’s see what happens. I am ready.’
