Tonight sees UFC host their first PPV event of 2021. Ending fight week, the massive card will be headlined by the Lightweight showdown between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier for UFC 257. Arguably the second biggest fight on the card will see Dan Hooker take on Michael Chandler. This is Chandler’s first appearance in the octagon, with Dan Hooker looking to stop the hype train of the former Bellator great.
Dan Hooker recently spoke to BJPENN.com and outlined what he is hoping to achieve tonight at UFC 257. ‘I would be lying if I said I didn’t see that opportunity when I took this fight,’ Hooker began, discussing a potential fight against Conor McGregor.

“My fight is the backup for the main event, it is a funny time, it is a funny sport. If that option became available to step in to do five rounds against either of those two guys, I got two hands sky high for that” Hooker then continued.
‘I already got names. As usual, those names will come in my post-fight interview,’ Hooker would begin to conclude, discussing who he plans on calling out post fight if he wins. ‘There is one thing I’m not and that is scared to call names or call people out. Get the job done, shoot my shot, and line myself up another fight.’
