Former UFC champ-champ and commentator Daniel Cormier recently weighed in on the company’s Light Heavyweight situation. Speaking on the DC & Helwani podcast, Cormier stated that whilst Jan Blachowicz is a deserving Champion at 205? Jon Jones is still the best Light Heavyweight fighter in the world.
It’s an interesting thing for Daniel Cormier to say about his long-time heated rival; the two men have not been anywhere near cordial in their fight careers thus far.

‘Even today, for as much as we love Jan Blachowicz and how great he did, I still think that Jones is the best 205-pounder in the world,’ Cormier said on DC & Helwani.
Jon Jones is now set to move up to the UFC Heavyweight division. The rumoured matchup that the UFC are targeting is Jones vs the winner of Stipe Miocic vs Francis Ngannou. That fight takes place at UFC 260 in just a few weeks, so hopefully we won’t have to wait long for ‘Bones’ Jones to get his return fight confirmed.
