Former UFC Flyweight and Bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo revealed that he wants to take on Max Holloway. Speaking to ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Cejudo revealed that he wants the ‘challenge’ of taking on the man considered to be the Featherweight GOAT.

‘I have never called out Max Holloway. Even when he had the belt” Henry Cejudo began. “I have never called him out. I feel like in the future, I would love to fight him. People would not believe me that I could beat him. He’s so damn tall and what he’s been able to do.”

Cejudo has of course been a Champion at both Flyweight and Bantamweight, however he has stated in the past that he would want to move up to Featherweight if he were to return. The former UFC Champion specifically said in the past that he wants to take on Featherweight Champion Volkanovski. It appears as though Cejudo also has his sights set on Holloway.

Cejudo continued, saying how he would love the challenge of taking on Holloway. ‘I love that challenge. I love the fact people don’t think I could beat him. He’s taller than me and has inflicted more damage on different people, but I feel like I’m too smart and too skilled.”

Henry Cejudo finished by saying that there’s nothing left at Bantamweight that interests him in the UFC. “If there was anything at 135 to get my attention, it would be to fight [champion] Aljamain Sterling and [former champion] Petr Yan at the same time,” Cejudo claimed. “Change them out each round.”
