Former UFC two division Champion Henry Cejudo recently spoke to Combate on Globo.com. Although still technically ‘retired,’ Cejudo has been discussing a potential return to the octagon in the coming months.

During the interview, Henry Cejudo had some choice words for current UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo.

‘Deiveson is strong, but when he goes to prepare to fight with me it will be different” Cejudo stated. “He doesn’t have wrestling, he doesn’t have the experience I have. One thing they talk about is that he has the composure and recognizes the distance very well.”

Henry Cejudo finished by making some scathing comments regarding Figueiredo as a fighter. “But when you fight a guy like Demetrious Johnson or fight an Olympics and win, fighting Deiveson is like breaking a cookie.”

Deiveson Figueiredo himself recently had some choice words for the former Flyweight Champion. “Cejudo is a joker,’ Deiveson Figueiredo said to Ag Fight. ‘He talks too much, he is a loud mouth.”

“I really want to beat up that guy and knock him out” Figueiredo continued. “I can’t wait. I’ll shut up Moreno and move on to Cejudo. They talk too much. They know my potential, they know how bad I am. I’m even worse when provoked like that.’

‘He’s (Cejudo) going to pay for what he’s been saying’ Deiveson Figueiredo stated. ‘He thinks he’s a wrestler, but I’m a marajoara fighter. I’ve beaten lots of wrestling guys. I’ll knock that guy out. Or I’ll take him down and submit him.’
