Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones has reacted publicly to comments made by UFC President Dana White. The President of the company addressed a potential Francis Ngannou vs Jon Jones fight following the knockout win by Ngannou at UFC 260.
‘If I’m Jon Jones and watching this fight at home, I’m moving to 185!’ Dana White proclaimed at the UFC 260 post fight press conference.
It’s been well documented that ‘Bones’ Jones has been looking to move to Heavyweight for quite some time; with the 205 pound fighter clearly bulking up to try and gain the Heavyweight crown.
“I always hear about how much the company is growing” Jones began on Twitter, airing his displeasure at the comments from White. “Yet one year later I find myself in the same spot.”

“I put in the work, I’ve done my part” Jones continued. “I have completely transformed myself and now I meet a brick wall.. how discouraging.”
“A huge slap in the face” Jones added. “And I thought we were in good terms. I’ve been sitting here working hard, excited to come back to the company. Just to get that sh*t.”
There are still a huge amount of fans clamouring for the proposed Jon Jones vs Francis Ngannou title fight; even with a potential rematch on the cards for former Champion Stipe Miocic.
