UFC Welterweight contender Jorge Masvidal has announced his new Gamebred Fights platform. The 170lb fighter revealed that he was bringing street fight content to fans as his videos and content had been ‘banned’ on other video platforms.
“Since I’ve been shadow banned and censured I decided to start my own platform” Jorge Masvidal wrote on Twitter. “And bring never before seen content.”
Masvidal also said that he will be looking for the ‘next’ Kimbo Slice whilst producing the street fighting content. Kimbo was of course a street fighting legend who went on to fight for EliteXC, UFC and eventually Bellator. Slice sadly passed away at the age of 42, back in June of 2016.
Jorge Masvidal Wants To Find ‘Next Kimbo’
“I will also be traveling the world looking for the next Kimbo, rip or street fighter only at http://gamebredfights.com #andnew’ Masvidal noted.
Jorge Masvidal will be fighting for the UFC Welterweight Championship against Kamaru Usman at UFC 261. That event takes place on Saturday April 24. Masvidal is currently listed as the underdog in the rematch from 2020, which Jorge took at short notice (a week) and lost.
Check out the GameBred Fights platform here, it is currently available for $4.99 per month.
