The 16-3 fighter recently spoke to The Metro about the announcement. “My first reaction was, ’˜well it’s about time,’ Pimblett told Metro.co.uk. ’˜We all know it was inevitable I was going to get signed.”

“[Cage Warriors CEO] Graham [Boylan] rang me on Monday to tell me it had already happened within 48 hours of me fighting” Pimblett continued. “I was very happy. I couldn’t believe it happened that quickly but it just goes to show I am the boy and they need me.”
