UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic recently spoke to ESPN. The man regarded as the ‘Greatest Heavyweight Ever’ will be defending his Championship against Francis Ngannou this Saturday night at the UFC APEX for UFC 260.
‘I’m more efficient. Just overall. I’ve learned more about my body” Stipe Miocic said to ESPN in the build-up to the PPV main event. “I’m stronger. I’m lighter, but I’m stronger, I’m faster. My conditioning (is better. You know they say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but I feel like I’ve learned a lot.”
“I’m getting better each day thanks to my coaches” Miocic continued. “He’s getting better too. He’s still young and he’s hungry, and he wants something that I have. Unfortunately, I’m the champion and I’m not giving it up. He won’t be champ until I’m done.’

Miocic also made similar comments to MMA Fighting earlier in the week. ‘It won’t be nothing like the first fight because he’s definitely gotten better and so have I,’ Miocic stated. ‘A lot of things are going to change.’
‘I’m trying to make it a more one-sided fight, and of course try to end it early, but he’s gotten better’ Stipe Miocic continued. ‘The man hits hard and it’s the heavyweight division so anything can happen.’
UFC 260 takes place Saturday night and will be available to watch on ESPN+ in the United States and BT Sport in the United Kingdom.
