WWE Legend and renowned Mixed Martial Arts megafan The Undertaker recently spoke to Sports Nation. The ‘Deadman’ discussed a number of topics, including the comparisons being made by fans/critics between Brock Lesnar and Francis Ngannou.

Both Lesnar and Ngannou have the UFC Heavyweight Championship on their resume; Brock Lesnar is unique in that he transitioned to MMA following a run in the NFL and prior to that WWE.

Although Lesnar came over from the pro wrestling landscape, he is still a former NCAA Division 1 wrestling Champion, so he has the pedigree, power and larger than life physique akin to the new Champion, Francis Ngannou.

The Undertaker on Lesnar/Ngannou

‘I think they are legitimate,’ The Undertaker began, speaking on the recent Lesnar-Ngannou comparisons. ‘I mean you can just tell that Ngannou; there’s a switch that kind of flipped.”

“Somewhere along these past couple of years and he is just, I mean look at his size and strength” Undertaker continued. “The way he knocks people out. The damage he does. You know and they way everything is reported, with all the different things, he kind of gets this mythical, you know this mythical stature about him.”

“You know, just like when Mike Tyson was smashing people” ‘Taker added. “Like people were beat before they ever took the first punch. I remember watching Frank Bruno walk to the ring against Tyson. You could tell, he was terrified. And well he should be.’
