Valentina Shevchenko will be defending her UFC Flyweight Championship at UFC 261 against Jessica Andrade. The lines sit with the dominant flyweight Champion as a -335 favourite. Her opponent, the former strawweight champion Andrade, is the +275 underdog.
Shevchenko has now defended her title on four occasions, with her most recent win coming at UFC 255 against Jennifer Maia. That bout took place in November 2020, so Valentina Shevchenko has had a good amount of time away from the octagon to prepare for her first fight in this calendar year.

Shevchenko’s opponent Jessica Andrade however feels as though she has a good shot against the Flyweight great. ‘I think I can put up a fight against Valentina,’ Andrade told MMA Fighting during a recent interview. ‘It’s something that should have happened already in other organizations so I think I’m gonna make a difference in this and put on shows in this division.’
