Becky Lynch suffered an unfortunate injury during her match with Bianca Belair at SummerSlam. The hardest part of the injury for her was missing the Clash At The Castle PPV earlier this month.
The Man appeared on Out of Character (H/t WrestleZone) recently. She first revealed that she suffered the damage within the first few minutes of her championship match against the EST:
‘Yeah, I think like the first two minutes or the first three minutes or something, Yeah, and then I was like, ’˜Oh, maybe I dislocated it, maybe it’ll click back into place.’ Then by the end of the match, I was like, ’˜Oh, I’m out. I’m going to be out for a little while.’’
Becky Lynch claimed that the adrenaline and the support of the crowd carried her through the bout. The hardest part of the injury for her however, was missing the first UK PPV of WWE in nearly 30 years
“The hardest part was knowing that I’m going to miss the first pay-per-view in the UK in however long. So that was the realization that ah, frick. But things happen, and you can’t do anything about them. You can just respond. It’s the way they happen.’
