WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix recently made her return to the ring at last weekend’s Elimination Chamber premium live event. Having WWE Hall of Famer husband Edge by her side, defeated Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley of the Judgment Day.
Beth spoke about her match on Busted Open Radio, and also about her in-ring future. Beth said that she will be at WrestleMania, with Edge likely to be in action on the show. As for her future, she admitted that she likes to take things ’˜one day at a time’, so doesn’t have any plans as of now.
She said:
‘I’ll be at WrestleMania. I’m sure Adam will be factored in and featured, so I’ll be there to enjoy. Whatever it is, I can say with all my heart, he and I don’t look too far ahead. We don’t have any plans, we don’t have any like, ’˜this is going to be the retirement.’
‘We’re just taking it one day at a time, and when these little opportunities pop up, we’re just like, ’˜Hell yeah,’ because we don’t know what tomorrow brings, and our kids are old enough now that they can process mom and dad squeezing this for every last drop.
‘So that’s been fun, too, to show my daughters like, ’˜Don’t put limits on yourself. Don’t let anybody dictate what you do in your life, or what your future is. You just do what’s right for you.’ and I think it’s been really fun to do this as a family.
‘It’s been neat because now they’re in elementary school, so the kids know what our jobs are, and a lot of them watch the match.’
