Triple H is back.
The former world champion had been taking things lightly following his cardiac event last year. The medical condition forced him to retire from active competition and take a leave from his position as the head of NXT. Shawn Michaels had been running the brand in his absence.
The Game addressed talents at the Performance Center this past Wednesday. The WWE executive had reportedly told people that ‘he’s back.’ Rumors were flying around since then on what it really means, and now WWE has confirmed the meaning behind it.
The company sent out a brief press release on Friday morning. The statement as seen below announced that Triple H has resumed his position as the Executive Vince President:
STAMFORD, Conn., July 22, 2022 ’“ WWE® (NYSE: WWE) today announced that effective immediately, Paul Levesque [Triple H] will resume his executive position as EVP, Talent Relations.
‘I look forward to returning to my prior position as head of Talent Relations. I’m healthy, fired up, and ready to take charge,’ said Levesque.”
