WWE NXT Superstar and former North American Champion Bronson Reed recently spoke to El Brunch de WWE and addressed the idea of him being called up to RAW or SmackDown.
Bronson Reed was recently part of ‘auditions’ for the main roster, with WWE bringing up several NXT Superstars to work dark and Main Event matches to be further assessed by Vince McMahon and the WWE brass.
Reed, NXT Champion Karion Kross, Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart are the four NXT names that have been confirmed publicly, although more may have been looked at.
‘That’s a tough choice,’ Reed noted when asked be El Brunch de WWE if he would prefer to go to RAW or SmackDown if and when he is called up.
Will Bronson Reed go to RAW or SmackDown?
‘I think both [RAW & SmackDown] have benefits but if I had to choose, if I had to leave the black and gold NXT, I’d probably say the blue brand” Reed continued. “I would say Friday Night SmackDown.’
It has not been confirmed if any NXT Superstars will be brought to RAW or SmackDown in the coming months, however WWE is keen to rejuvenate the main programming as fans begin to return to live events in July.
Bronson Reed could be a major player on SmackDown, with the brand desperately needing more big men performers he could slot in nicely at the IC title level initially before going after the likes of the Universal Championship.
