The Sasha Banks and Naomi debacle has divided fans. There is a group which believes that the duo did the right thing and others should support them. There are however, others who understand the perspective of the officials and think that the former tag champs should have been more professional.
CM Punk for one, is of the opinion that people within the WWE locker room should stand with the former champions. The Straight Edge Star took on his Twitter to comment on the incident and share his thoughts. He claimed that the locker room should come together if they want to be unstoppable:
‘Doesn’t matter if your opinion of your co-worker is positive or negative. Stand with them. Because they’ll do the same thing to you and you’ll wish someone helped. Trust me. You’re expendable. Together you’re unstoppable.’
Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of this past Monday’s Raw after learning about creative plans for them. WWE has since suspended both the stars and stripped them of the tag titles. They have also removed them from WWE’s intro video package. At this point it doesn’t appear that the two parties will reach a solution anytime soon and both Naomi and Sasha Banks’ wrestling future is in limbo.
