The Undertaker’s Hall Of Fame induction has got tangled in a controversy. The daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley, Noelle Foley has called out the dead man for omitting her father from his speech during the ceremony last night.
Taker delivered a great speech during the event last night. He shared some life lessons he has learned over the years with the fans. The legendary pro wrestler also talked about some of the most memorable opponents of his career. This list included people from his early career such as Yokozuna to more recent years such as Shawn Michaels and Triple H.
The Undertaker, however, forgot to take the name of Mick Foley. The two had an unforgettable Hell In A Cell match among others. Noelle noted on Twitter that it would have been nice to hear her dad’s name:
‘That was a great speech, but I’m very surprised there was not one single mention of my dad and their legendary matches together. Obviously, I understand it’s difficult to fit everything into one speech and remember every single person you want to mention.
But it just would have been really nice to hear my dad’s name mentioned.’
Neither Taker nor Mick Foley himself have commented on this matter so far. The omission has found its way into the discussion about the Hall Of Fame in the meantime.
