GCW deathmatch stopped after horrific injury

Last updated

A Game Changer Wrestling/GCW deathmatch had to be stopped following a horrific injury to one of the performers on the card.

Hoodfoot was badly injured at the Game Changer Wrestling Dead on Arrival show during a match with Slade.

Slade would break a light tube and then stab Hoodfoot, who himself was stabbing Slade back as part of a standard deathmatch spot, and Hoodfoot’s arm began bleeding severely.

Hoodfoot injury at GCW event

It looked like the blood pouring out of Hoodfoot’s arm was like a faucet, and it made for a gruesome visual for those in attendance.

The referee would try to use tape on Hoodfoot’s arm to stop the bleeding, but the match had to eventually be stopped.

Hoodfoot looked visibly distressed during the incident, but that appeared to mainly be that he was p*ssed at the match having to be called off.

As far as we’re aware, there does not appear to be any blame aimed towards Slade as this was a standard deathmatch spot gone wrong. It’s unfortunate, but Hoodfoot appears to be in better health now.

You can see some of the footage below, but please be warned that it is extremely graphic so please use discretion if you plan on watching it.
