Kevin Owens discusses his WWE contract and future

Last updated

Kevin Owens surprised everyone when he chose to re-sign with WWE instead of leaving for AEW last year. Now that Triple H has become in charge of creative in WWE, it appears that Owens will not be leaving the promotion anytime soon.

The former Universal champion commented on his status and future with the company while speaking to Peter Rosenberg. He said that he doesn’t see a reason not to re-sign with WWE when his current contract ends:

‘Now, I have two more years left on my current contract. I don’t see a reason why I wouldn’t sign another one when it’s done because I don’t feel like I’m anywhere near done, but who knows what could happen.”

The 38-year-old explained that at this stage of his career, he wants to have fun and put out stuff that people like to watch:

“At this stage in my career, I really want to have fun and make sure I’m still putting out memorable stuff for people watching. I look back at the career I had and if it all ended tomorrow, it would be hard to have any kind of regret because I’ve done some incredible stuff and I’ve been very lucky to do what I’ve done.”
