Huge change for Kevin Owens rumoured

A huge change has been rumoured for WWE RAW Superstar Kevin Owens and his finishing move going forward in the company.

Although he has mainly used the Pop-up Powerbomb and Stunner on the main roster, Xero News is claiming that he will be getting his Package Piledriver back on WWE programming.

“Piledriver now unbanned in WWE. Owens is expected to start using his package piledriver as his finisher soon” the site claimed on Twitter.

Kevin Owens Finisher

It’s worth noting that this rumour from Xero News is just that, a rumour, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

This would be a small but welcome change to WWE’s presentation, as the lack of performers doing piledrivers has been baffling for a while.

Obviously, Kane and The Undertaker were still allowed to perform a tombstone, but the last time we saw a piledriver in the company was during the 2013 match between CM Punk and John Cena.

Incidentally, the two men were fined backstage for performing a then-banned move on television, despite the fact that it added massively to the contest.
