Killer Kross pitched revival of Attitude Era faction in WWE

Last updated

Killer Kross pitched a lot of ideas during his time in WWE. One of his final pitches was the revival of an Attitude Era faction.

The former Karrion Kross spoke to NBC Sports Boston (H/t recently. Speaking about his final days in the company, the former NXT champion revealed that he pitched the idea of bringing back The Corporate Ministry. There were several writers who were on board:

‘I had ideas about bringing back The Corporate Ministry. That was one of my final ideas that I had. I had a series of writers on board for that who thought it was a very good idea.”

The Corporate Ministry was a faction born out of the merger between The Corporation and the Ministry of Darkness stables. It first united against the threat of Mr McMahon, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and The Union. Mr McMahon however, was later revealed to be the power behind the Corporate Ministry. Kross said that he pitched the angle because there is some nostalgia to it:

“I thought pitching those ideas would be cool because there’s some nostalgia to it. You know, with all these crazy conspiracy theories that are always going around about esoteric businesses and stuff like that, and cults, and evil companies and stuff like that, I thought there would be a tasteful way to fictionalize that type of stuff and put it back on TV with a nostalgic twist.’
