Cesaro left WWE back in February this year after his contract expired. This ended his 11-year-long tenure with the company. The wrestling veteran has kept quiet about his wrestling future since then. A new report, however, has now stirred up the rumors of the free agent making his AEW debut as soon as this Sunday night.

Bryan Danielson announced on Dynamite this past Wednesday that he is not cleared for Forbidden Door. A mystery opponent has been teased as his replacement in the announced match against Zack Sabre Jr. Speculation is ranging from Bray Wyatt to Johnny Gargano and more regarding the potential surprise.

In an update, Fightful Select reported that Cesaro has visited the Flatbacks Wrestling School in Orlando, FL multiple times in the last few weeks. They noted, ‘we haven’t heard anything heard an update on if he’ll actually be in the replacement this week, but he has been working in the ring again.’

Like Danielson and Jon Moxley, Cesaro also has a history with William Regal. The former US champion is the star Regal put over in his final match back in 2013. This connection and the latest update is making many believe that he will be joining AEW as the newest BCC member tonight.
