WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan recently discussed a finish to a match that she absolutely hated recently.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani for BT Sport, Morgan talked about the finish of her match against Ronda Rousey at SummerSlam 2022.
“I outlasted two armbars and I did my absolute best in that very moment, and so they weren’t happy with the conclusion of the match” Morgan began.

“But at the end of the day, the referee’s decision is final, but and I’m still the SmackDown Women’s Champion and the only woman to beat Ronda Rousey twice.
‘I hated it. It’s not the way that I would have hoped for it to go” Morgan noted with regards to the finish of that match.
“But at the end of the day, I’m still SmackDown Women’s Champion, and I guess that’s genuinely all I really care about” Morgan concluded.
It was a pretty terrible finish, with Rousey making Morgan tap out whilst in a pinning predicament. Morgan certainly struggled with fan react directly after, although she does appear to have the fans back on side now.
