Mick Foley reveals which WrestleMania match he ‘can’t bear to watch’

Last updated

WWE Hall of Famer and pro wrestling legend Mick Foley recently revealed which one of his WrestleMania matches he ‘can’t bear’ to look back on.

Speaking on his Foley is Pod podcast, the former WWE Champion revealed that it was his WrestleMania 20 match that he can’t look back on.

‘I can’t watch the match. Ric Flair, he feels like it was a really good match. He says [it is], and I’m like, ’˜Ric, I can’t watch it. I can’t watch'” Foley began.

“He said something, ’˜You were great. You were great’ (’¦) I lost all my confidence, and I go from being this guy who had been the three-time WWE Champion, and I just become somebody who, in my mind, doesn’t belong out there” the hardcore legend would conclude.

It’s interesting to look back at this strange handicap match from the show, as The Rock coming back was, or should’ve been, a big deal.

Sadly, the match didn’t live up to (slight) hype, but Foley would go on to have a barnburner against Randy Orton at Backlash 2004.
