Mickie James successfully defeated Jordynne Grace at Hard to Kill to not only win the Impact Knockouts Championship but save her career as well. Now that she is a world champion again, the wrestling veteran wants to travel the world and face talents she has never faced before, such as Mercedes Mone.
The Impact Champion recently appeared on Busted Open Radio (h/t Fightful) to discuss her victory. She commented on the possibility of taking the title to different promotions and defending it worldwide:
“I would love that; I would be honoured to do that. I did say, if I won this championship, that I intend on making this my greatest reign ever and to become the greatest Knockouts World Champion of all time. In order to be a world champion, it needs to be represented worldwide.”

Speaking about a potential match with one of the hottest talents right now, Mickie James mentioned how she never got to face Mone in WWE. She said that a match against her would be incredible:
“You talk about that match with Sasha [Mercedes Mone], that’s one match we never got at WWE. We never had a singles match and it’s one thing we always wanted. With her at Stardom and New Japan, that opportunity to have that singles match would be incredible.”
