WWE NXT: ‘Loads’ of talent being ‘written off’ TV

WWE appear to be preparing for a Draft shortly after WrestleMania Goes Hollywood, with a number of NXT talent being ‘written off’ NXT TV.

A source has indicated to us that the company are currently “writing a lot of talent off NXT television”, as there will apparently be a Draft Lottery taking place after the mega event in April 2023.

We have not been able to establish right now which talents are expected to be departing for the main roster shortly, but names like Carmelo Hayes must be on top of the pile.

WWE NXT Callups Main Roster

We will try and get more context on this in the coming weeks, but it looks as though the company are trying to bolster their rosters on RAW and SmackDown.

What we also do not currently know is whether or not some main roster talent could be making their way back to the developmental brand.

Talents like Mandy Rose and Apollo Crews have worked well going back to the Florida-based brand, and while this is just speculation, we don’t believe that WWE sees the brand on the same level as RAW or SmackDown so it won’t be part of the Draft Lottery that is apparently taking place.
