Fans have been fantasy booking Paige in AEW ever since her WWE departure. The former champion herself, however, has given a disappointing news related to an AEW move.
The wrestling star now going by the name Saraya held the Turning The Page stage show at Starrcast V (H/t Fightful). During the event she gave fans a glimpse on her life after WWE. The former Diva’s champion revealed that she is currently writing a book:
“I’m in the middle of writing a book right now, which I’m really excited about. We got a book, it’s going to be another year before it officially comes out. We’re in the middle of writing that.”
Paige then provided a disappointing update on her wrestling future. She claimed that she loves AEW and will be interested in facing Britt Baker one day. According to Paige, however, she won’t be debuting for the promotion anytime soon:
“We’re doing other things, but I’m not allowed to say anything right now. It’s non-wrestling related, sorry guys. I’m not going to be going to AEW anytime soon. AEW seems great. I love AEW. I would love to face Britt Baker one day if the time is right, that would be awesome. All my friends are there now,”
