A former WWE Superstar has officially signed for All Elite Wrestling, after wrestling on AEW Rampage this week.
Parker Boudreaux, who previously wrestled under the name Harland for the NXT brand, was confirmed by Tony Khan as being the latest star to sign with the company.
“After a win in his @AEWonTV debut + an eventful night for The Trustbusters, it’s official: @TheParkerB_ is #AllElite! #AEWRampage” Khan revealed on Twitter.
WWE Superstar signs with AEW
Boudreaux was released from NXT earlier this year, as part of the ‘budget cuts’ that were previously sweeping the company.
The hype for the former amateur wrestler was pretty big when he first appeared on the scene. It wasn’t lost on many that he had more than a passing resemblance to Brock Lesnar.
Unfortunately, it was reported that Harland had not actually been progressing as quickly as the company wanted him to. That was apparently the major reason that he was released.
It seems as though Tony Khan sees something that WWE, or at least the previous management of the company, didn’t see.
