WWE RAW Ratings suffer again due to the NFL (26/09/22)

Last updated

This week’s episode of WWE RAW appeared to suffer once again when it came to the ratings due to the NFL posting big numbers.

As confirmed in a report by the Wrestling Observer, the big numbers that drove SmackDown last week didn’t continue into RAW this past Monday.

“The show stayed even against a Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants NFL game that drew 19.34 million viewers between ABC, ESPN, and ESPN2. That number was slightly lower than the NFL did the previous two Mondays, but well above what has been the usual level of the past several years” the site revealed.

WWE RAW Ratings

“WWE Raw was sixth on cable in 18-49, behind the game on ESPN and ESPN2, the kickoff show, the postgame show, and SportsCenter after the postgame show. The show did beat the Countdown show which did 1.27 million viewers and a 0.44 demo rating” F4Wonline noted.

“Raw was fourth in women 18-49, seventh in men 18-49, sixth in people 18-34, fourth in women 12-34, and sixth in men 12-34” The Observer concluded.

The show on Monday nights is going to suffer going up against the NFL, but the slight bump this week from last week’s 1.5 million viewership is promising.
