Ric Flair is set to make his in-ring return tonight for the last match of his career. The match will be held as part of the huge Starrcast wrestling convention. Flair will team up with Andrade El Idolo and square off against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett in a traditional tag team match. It seems ‘The Nature Boy’ needs to get intoxicated every night before the fight.
Ric Flair opens up on drinking
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Ric Flair made it clear that despite his hurdles, he was never going to postpone the final match. Flair then stated he is drinking every night before his match.
‘I would never postpone it. hey’d have to kill me for that. So many people have contributed their time and effort to make this happen. I just wanted to be at 100% of what I can be now. I guaranteed you that I’ll be drinking every night. I don’t do good when I don’t drink.’
We will have to wait and see how the last match pans out for him given his recent health issues and age factor.
