WWE NXT Superstar Roderick Strong was attacked in the parking lot ahead of the WWE NXT Worlds Collide event tonight from Orlando.
There has been a lot of speculation from fans as to who it may have been, and the overwhelming majority believe it may be Bobby FishAEW: Adam Cole on Bobby Fish possibly joining The Elite.
This would be an intriguing wrinkle to the Strong and Diamond Mine story, as Fish and Strong were of course part of the Undisputed Era stable in the black and gold version of NXT.
Roderick Strong Attack
I haven’t heard anything about Fish making a return to WWE, but with him recently leaving AEW, it is certainly not out of the question.
With Triple H now essentially in charge of creative across the entire company, it would make sense for him to want to bring back some of ‘his boys’ for the new project.
Fish could easily work as a talent/trainer in NXT 2.0, and someone with that wealth of experience is a great person to have around.
