Roman Reigns: Huge rumor on his WWE Champion status

It appears as though there could be a pretty major change to Roman Reigns and his WWE Champion status in 2023.

According to a new report/rumor from Xero News, it appears as though the WWE and Universal title belts will be split and there will no longer be a Unified Champ.

“The Titles will be split by the end of the draft latest (The draft will be after Mania)” the site claimed on Twitter.

“There are some talks however of Roman dropping both Belts at Mania. 1 on Night 1 and the Second on Night 2” the site concluded.

Roman Reigns WWE Unified World Champion

It’s worth noting that this rumor from Xero News is just that, a rumor, as we are unable to verify whether or not the report is legitimate at this time.

There has been a ton of rumors regarding USA Network and how unhappy they are not having a World Champion on RAW, so this certainly makes sense.

Hopefully, the way in which the company decides to move forward with this makes sense, but we aren’t going to know for some time by the looks of it.
