The RAW 30th anniversary special will feature many big names. Though one former WWE talent who will not be appearing on the show despite an invitation is Tatanka.
The 61-year-old retired wrestler recently took to his Twitter to reveal that he had been contacted for an appearance on the upcoming special. He declined the offer because his family is heading out of town to support his son’s team in the state championship:
‘Even though @WWE contacted me 5 weeks ago, I will not be attending the 30th Anniversary Show’¦instead, as noted, my Son’s Wrestling Team won the Regional Championship & we’re heading out of town to the State Championship! No better place I would rather be! #Father #Son Support!’

Tatanka had multiple runs with WWE. His first stint was from 1991 to 1996. He returned to the company for a shorter run in 2005. He has made sporadic appearances for the promotion since then.
He competed in the Andre The Giant memorial battle royal in 2016 and also made an appearance during the Legends Night of Raw in 2021.
While Tatanka will not appear on the show, WWE has confirmed names such as Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Ron Simmons, Road Dogg, Sean Waltman, Teddy Long, Jerry Lawler, Bella Twins and The Undertaker for the upcoming special.
