WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker reportedly nixed a major angle for Michelle McCool back when both were still active in wrestling.
During a recent episode of the Wrestling With Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr revealed that the Deadman called an audible.
‘He [Hayes] goes, ’˜Well, Michelle said that you and she talked and she didn’t really like the story, so it’s gone,’’ Prinze Jr began.
Undertaker changing plans
‘He goes, ’˜Freddie, she talked to Undertaker, Undertaker talked to Vince, the story’s gone” Prinze Jr concluded.
The former WWE writer is apparently still planning on starting his own promotion in the next year or so, and has been making plans for the unveiling.
It’s not surprising to hear that ‘Taker would make such a change, likely by going directly to Vince McMahon, and there are probably a ton of other stories like this still to be told.
Hopefully, we’ll hear some more of these stories from former WWE employees down the line.
