Triple H has brought back a number of released stars since becoming the creative head of WWE. Some legends have made their returns too, and it appears more are to come.

Fightful Select has revealed two more names that will be returning to WWE TV in the coming weeks. They noted that SmackDown will be taping two episodes together this week and Xavier Woods is set to return to the ring after missing all of August. Another unexpected name making his comeback is JBL:

“Former WWE Champion JBL was also slated to be used in some capacity at the tapings. JBL has appeared on and off for WWE for years after retiring from in-ring action in 2009.”

Xavier Woods was written off TV after being attacked by Viking Raiders. The duo turned heel during their feud with The New Day, and they attacked Woods with a steel chair among other things.

Former WWE champion JBL was inducted into Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class. His last appearance on TV was at WrestleMania 37 where he served as a panellist. In addition to JBL, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is also slated to make his WWE return on Raw this Monday.
