Cody Rhodes was the trending topic on social media after his Hell In A Cell performance. Dealing with a gruesome and very graphic injury, the American Nightmare still went out and deliver the performance of a lifetime at the Premium Live Event. At the end he came out victorious in his battle against Seth Rollins.

After the PPV went off air, the former AEW star took on the mic to address the crowd. He claimed that no one convined him to perform with a torn pec and it was his own decision. Rhodes also promised to explain things further at tonight’s Raw:

‘I’m sure I’m gonna explain things a little further tomorrow, I’ll be very brief. No one convinced me, with a torn pec, to come out here. It was solely my decision. You would have to literally kill me from staying away from this ring. Ten times out of ten, I would have made the same decision,’

Per WWE, Cody Rhodes suffered a partial tear on his right pectoral tendon during his brawl with Rollins on last week’s Raw. He then tore it off completely while lifting weights on Friday. As of this writing, there is no word on how long he will stay out of action.
